THE FIELD GUIDES

Everyday nutrition for training

Connect food, practical meal patterns and your own preferences without rigid eating rules.

Start with the meal you can make

A useful meal pattern accommodates your appetite, budget and schedule. Our example menus show ways to combine foods. They do not assess your complete dietary requirements or prescribe a clinical diet.

Keep quantities in context

Protein, carbohydrate and fat are part of food, not a grading system for your character. A calculator can help you compare a portion or read a label, but it cannot decide whether your overall diet is adequate.

Plant-based choices need their own details

Use preparation-specific food records and actual package labels when available. Fortification and protein content vary across drinks and substitutes. If you exclude food groups, individualized advice may help with nutrients that require attention.
